Yellow City Street Food
An Amarillo restaurant scene favorite YCSF creates wonderful dishes primarily focused on burgers, tacos, and sandwiches with a rotating selection of excellent specials. Yellow City has been featured on the Food Network and is a must-stop on any hipster’s journey that takes them through Amarillo.
Pizza Nomad
While there are many excellent pizza shops in Amarillo, Pizza Nomad is a contender for the top spot for sure. It originated at a coal-fired food truck, that is right they had a coal-fired oven in the food truck. They opened a brick-and-mortar location recently and serve up their tasty slices with an expanded menu and chef specials to include some excellent non-pizza fare.
Tyler’s BBQ

Crush
Crush and its sister restaurant Baby Crush, are pushing the Amarillo food scene forward. The OG Crush is one of the best restaurants in Downtown Amarillo, TX. A menu made of too many culinary treats to name, which are complemented by excellent pairings from their wine and cocktail menu. Another must-see by the same ownership group is Cask and Cork
Delvin’s
Located in North Heights, Delvin’s is a must-visit primarily focused on BBQ and soul food. They have a large menu that should have something to offer for everyone. With friendly staff and daily specials, it is a must-try.
Drunken Oyster
Run by Amarillo’s celebrity chef, Chef Rory Schepisi Druken Oyster food is stellar. A wonderful ambiance for a weekend date night. Primarily serving up Cajun and Seafood which is complemented by great craft cocktails and a large Absinthe selection. Check out their brand new sister restaurant Savor
