1.Palace Coffee

With several locations around Amarillo and one in Canyon. Palace is a fixture on the Amarillo coffee scene, Palace offers a hip, yet not snobby vibe and is a great backdrop for meet-ups with friends for conversations. In addition to in-store they are one of few Amarillo coffee roasters that distribute to several stores.

2. Cliffside Coffee

Cliffside is unique in that most of its offerings center around chilled or frozen beverages, while still serving up a hot cup if that is your desire. They are centered around convenriene with drive thru centric locations. While you still get a friendly face and a great customer experience.

A new coffee shop in Amarillo, Strata Coffee Bar is located in the medical district. They are both a coffee shop and roastery so you will always get a fresh cup. In addition to coffee they host many live music, trivia nights, and other fun events to attend which are typically accompanied with delicious cocktails

4. Roasters Coffee & Tea Co.

Roasters was the first Amarillo coffee shop roasting their own beans. They have added a number of locations over the last few years so you can get your latte or red eye most anywhere in town. During any of the rush hours of day you can see a line of cars wrapped around their location. Roasters is open accessbile and approachable, meaning no coffee snobs.

5. 806 Coffee + Lounge

Located on 6th, 806 Coffee not only makes a great coffee but it is also a cultural (counter culture) hub in Amarillo. In addition to coffee they have a great selection of teas and have a great deli style menu which is nice if you plan to stay for awhile. As mentioned in addition to coffee at night 806 become a venue for music, art other creative ventures. 806 is great spot to hit up if you want to break out of the local buttoned up and conservative vibe.
